Tioga comes aboard

Feb. 25, 2015 – A critical section of the Pa. State Land Tax Fairness Coalition website has been expanded. One of the most effective sections is Maps/Charts/Data – in particular, the map gallery – which now uses the latest graphic tools to demonstrate the gutting of the local tax bases. Latest exhibit posted to the site is a map from Tioga County, compiled by the county’s GIS director, Scott Zubek.

Feb. 14, 2015 – Two bills in support of our mission were recently introduced in Harrisburg by State Representative Martin Causer and directed to the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee. Anyone who would like to support the Pennsylvania State Land Tax Fairness Coalition is encouraged to contact the 25 members of that committee and ask them to back House Bills 343 and 344.

Map gallery expanded

Feb. 12, 2015 – A critical section of the Pa. State Land Tax Fairness Coalition website have been expanded. One of the most effective new sections is Maps/Charts/Data – in particular the map gallery – which now uses the latest graphic tools to show the gutting of the local tax bases in Potter, Lycoming, Centre and Union counties. A similar map from Tioga County will be posted soon, and others will follow in the coming days.
